"We've really seen the resilience of many small business owners these last several months...If you're looking to feel a sort of renewed patriotism, look there."
BOCA RATON, FL, October 27, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The business IT firm Level5 Management announced this week that it will be offering an additional two grants to local businesses that could benefit operationally from financial relief from the costs associated with an increased need for IT services post-pandemic. Adamant in the belief that the success of small businesses is critical for an American economic rebound, the company continues to call on small businesses to find ways to support each other wherever possible.
As American business began resuming following the Covid shutdowns, the Boca Raton IT company recognized a marked increase in demand for their services. With companies scrambling to facilitate remote work and facing a dramatic pandemic-related uptick in cybersecurity threats, digital adoption -- including managed IT services and business continuity planning -- has become critical for viability. Like many business owners around the country, Level5 owners Ben Filippelli and Theon Paulino had concerns about how the pandemic would affect the small businesses in their Boca Raton community. Despite Congress passing the CARES Act in March, the partners kept hearing stories about fellow small business owners who had been left out of federal funding for various reasons. Inspired by private measures like the Small Business Relief Initiative — in which businesses like Yelp, GoDaddy, Intuit QuickBooks, and Bill.com partnered with GoFundMe to help provide small grants to other business owners affected by Covid — the pair felt compelled to do something meaningful to help the small business community as it struggled. With the creation of the Level5 Cares Initiative, they decided to provide grants to other local business owners for whom a break from paying for their IT needs could contribute to staying afloat.
Six months in, the company says it is in a position to offer a helping hand to a couple more businesses. "We continue to feel strongly about the concept of businesses leaning on each other to compensate for the shortcomings in public relief options," says Paulino, Level5's Chief Operating Officer. "We've really seen the resilience of many small business owners these last several months; they're fighting and adapting and doing whatever they can to keep swimming under enormously difficult circumstances and limited relief options. If you're looking to feel a sort of renewed patriotism, look there... economic rebound is driven by small business. As a managed service provider for small businesses, these are really our people. And we know that when the small business community props each other up, we are strengthening America."
Each of two new IT grants offered by the company awards up to $18,000 to cover the full cost of Level5's comprehensive, fully managed CompleteIT program for 6 months.
