Yoga Illumined Presents Manik Khan on Sarod

Manik Khan - www.manikkhan.com - was raised in the school of Indian classical music that his father, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, grandfather, Baba Allauddin Khan and elder brother Alam Khan have passed on to him from generations before.

"Indian classical music, especially when played by a dedicated musician, is incredibly transformative," said Sumukhi. "Manik Khan's music is something that all should experience."

In this Zoom livestream concert session, Manik will play a few alaps, solo on sarod. The session will introduce listeners to the sounds of Indian classical music with a Q&A and audience interaction in between each performance encouraged.
