SAN ANTONIO, TX, January 25, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Military Spouse Advocacy Network (MSAN) and Army Emergency Relief (AER) announce their partnership to provide support, education, financial readiness and relief to Army Families stationed around the world. This unique collaboration will emphasize the resources AER offers as the official nonprofit of the U.S. Army in partnership with the vast audience of Army Spouses that MSAN supports through their Military Spouse Mentorship-HUB. MSAN hosts a variety of one-of-a-kind programs that reach Army Families from "day one" through the length of their service to the nation.
MSAN and AER strive to assist Army Families in the understanding and utilization of the various categories of assistance that AER provides, including relief for basic living expenses, personal transportation, medical expenses, natural disasters, emergencies, permanent change of station needs, among others. The educational support MSAN curates alongside AER will work towards improving the financial readiness of our Army Families in a full circle of support.
"The collaboration of these organizations through a community partnership is focused on proactive education and mentorship for Army Families. We couldn't be more proud to partner with the U.S. Army's official nonprofit in order to strengthen our support for the spouses and families in our network. AER is known for "Soldiers Helping Soldiers", and MSAN's strong belief in peer support is what drives our daily mission. We look forward to merging our unique platform of peer mentorship for military spouses with the crucial resources AER provides. Now more than ever, this kind of partnership and emphasis on military spouse education is vital to the strength of our total force," Verenice Castillo, Founder & CEO of MSAN.
"Our partnership with MSAN will support our efforts to reach every Army Family and share information about AER programs. MSAN's network will help guide Army spouses to AER for financial assistance. Army Families are the cornerstone and strength of our Army. We have an obligation to ensure every Army Family and every Soldier knows to come to us when facing financial hardship," LTG Ray Mason, Director AER.
