Guardian Roofing Announces 2021 Halo Project Recipient

    AUBURN, WA, February 28, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Local Washington Contractor Guardian Roofing and Pest Control is excited to announce the recipient of 2021's Halo Project. Established in 2018, the Guardian Halo Project is a philanthropic endeavor that gifts one homeowner in desperate need a major roof repair or total replacement. To date the Guardian Team has fitted three new roof installations for three different local families, and they're excited to get started on the 4th one!

Says Guardian's Founder and President Lori Swanson "When we started Guardian in 2005, we had one van and a crew of four. Keeping our guys working was tough, but it was the local community who trusted us enough to give us their business. I'm never forget how our community supported us back then- that's why I'm so happy we are in a position now almost 20 years later to give something back to them. Every recipient of the Halo Project has truly needed our help and I feel blessed to be able to provide them some relief from the burden of a roof problems!"

This year's recipient, much like the recipients of years past, truly is a worthy cause. Sarah Lenihan of Enumclaw Washington moved into a 107 year old house with her husband Luke and two small children. While the home inspector assured the couple the structure was fit to live in, the family soon found themselves knee deep in a myriad of issues, primary that of a deteriorating roof. While the Lenihan's have done everything they can to make their dream home livable, the failing roof has been impossible project to take on their own. They even started a Go Fund Me page to help offset some of the crippling costs associated with repairing the home.

As with all the Guardian Halo Projects, it was the local community that gathered behind this family, supporting them through their kind words and nominations. In fact, the number of submissions for the Lenihans reached a new Guardian record- 105 submitted nominations! Almost every nomination had a kind word to say about Sarah, Luke and their children and after reviewing each and every submission, the Leadership Team at Guardian knew they had to help.
