EC-Council Honors Women's History Month and International Women's Day with Global Women Leaders in Cybersecurity

    ALBUQUERQUE, NM, March 10, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ahead of International Women's Day, EC-Council has announced a whole month dedicated to women in cybersecurity. This March, women from across the world will be able to access opportunities such as courses, scholarships, phishing simulations, and more. In addition, through March, EC-Council will be hosting interviews, webinars, white papers, and more by the top global women leaders in cybersecurity.

Cybersecurity is among the most in-demand careers of 2021. However, the industry has been facing gender disparity due to low representation of women, a number reportedly only at 20%. While there is a severe mismatch in the supply and demand for talent in the industry, the ratio of men to women is a major cause for concern. To address these twin challenges, several women leaders have stepped forward to collaborate with EC-Council to make a whole host of learning and skilling resources available to women across the globe.
