LAS VEGAS, NV, March 17, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- SSM Entertainment artist, Sam Riddle, is honored to be the first live full band performance in Las Vegas after the city went nearly a year without live shows. Riddle performed at The Westgate Resort this past weekend; the Neon Capital of the World, known for its active nightlife, has been unusually quiet during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Riddle observed that the return of "live music would help us all heal and return to a state of normalcy." He believes that live shows will help not only the city of Las Vegas but America move forward from the turbulence of the pandemic.
Riddle is no stranger to the concept of healing through music. After the 2017 mass shooting event at the Route 91 Festival in Las Vegas, he co-wrote a survivor song. The song, Vegas Strong, became an anthem for the city as it was cathartic to those affected by the tragedy.
While the pandemic limited Riddle's ability to perform before live audiences, he has been far from idle during this time. He recently signed a record contract with SSM Entertainment, a Nashville-based music label, and he has been hard at work in the studio. His first single, scheduled for release in April 2021, with his debut album to follow this summer. Riddle commented, "The pandemic gave everyone time to recognize what matters to them most and cherish the time God gives us to share our talents."
