"Best in Fest" (BIF) is the first-ever podcast from a film festival worldwide that interviews women navigating through the festival circuit who have created shorts, films, documentaries, and screenplays. BIF also highlights interviews from industry professionals who have distributed or help secure funding for indie films. These professional and indie filmmakers talk about current practices and successes with securing distribution, pointers, and strategies for the indie filmmaking community worldwide with valuable insider information. BIF is available starting Tuesday, March 23, 2021; a weekly podcast telling the dirty little secrets Hollywood wants to keep hidden behind the curtains. Hear from women who have launched their careers within and using the system to their advantage.
Launching our debut podcast is Kristen Bedno, Vice President of Distribution and Marketing at Vision Films, a 20-year legacy distribution company in Los Angeles, CA. Bedno brings her expertise to describe exactly what distribution companies seek from filmmakers and giving precise details of what it is like working with a distribution partner.
