LOS ANGELES, CA, May 03, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hollywood producer Suzanne DeLaurentiis's annual pre-Oscar charity event took place at the Hilton Hotel in Universal City on April 24th. The event benefited U.S. Veterans as part of DeLaurentiis's Operation Hollywood organization.
Guests were treated to a gifting suite, sit down lunch, raffle, and awards ceremony honoring US Marine Veteran Rosa Macias, Parkland school shooting survivor and advocate for epilepsy awareness Kaitlyn August, blind filmmaker Aaron Vnuk, and actress and entrepreneur Sasha Anne for donating her Sugar & Spice Nail Polish collection to female veterans.
Stars like Sally Struthers (All In The Family, Gilmore Girls), Michael Paré (Eddie and the Cruisers), Trevor Stines (Riverdale), John Salley (NBA basketball player), and the cast of the upcoming horror film Reed's Point, which stars Julia Kelly (Light As A Feather), Evan Adams (Lifetime's The Wrong Valentine), Sasha Anne (YouTuber/Beauty Entrepreneur), Madison Ekstrand (Very Frightening Tales), Giovannie Espiritu (ER, Bones), Christopher Dukes (Athena, Reed's Point), Anthony Jensen (D-Railed, Reed's Point), Lanett Tachel (PUMP, Reed's Point) and PUMP writer and director Corey Grant all came out to show their support of veterans and to celebrate Oscars week.

Due to COVID-19, Suzanne DeLaurentiis was unable to hold the event last year and so many guests were excited to be out and about for a great cause. Testing, waivers, and proper safety precautions were required to enter in order to have a safe and fun event.
