One More Chance For Bruce Engler

    NEW YORK, NY, May 24, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sha-La Music announces the worldwide release of the One More Chance album on June 11 from Singer/Songwriter Bruce Engler featuring US rocker DownTown Mystic. Sha-La released the Way To Know single in advance of the album to Radio on May 19 and is already getting airplay in a dozen countries via the iPluggers online digital platform. One More Chance will be distributed worldwide by The Orchard/Sony Music and is available for pre-order on Amazon and iTunes.

One More Chance contains 12 songs, including an unreleased bonus track. Each song is driven and enhanced by a strong rhythm section, the majority played by the dynamic duo of drummer Steve Holley and bassist Paul Page, moonlighting from their gig with Ian Hunter's Rant Band. The album showcases Bruce's talents as a top-notch guitar player, vocalist and songwriter. The music is a true labor of love with DownTown Mystic producing with Bruce, as well as adding guitar and harmony vocals on every track. The two co-wrote the title track and folk-rocker Read The Signs, with Bruce also covering 2 of DTM's songs--the single Way To Know and the emotional Last Teardrop, featuring Bruce's brilliant understated vocal.

Both men have been collaborating together for the past 25 years. DownTown Mystic writer/producer Robert Allen says, "Bruce has been a long-time contributor to the DownTown Mystic project and it was only a matter of time to get involved with him on his own project." One More Chance is the 4th album release in the past 6 months that DownTown Mystic has been involved with. DownTown Mystic On E Street Deluxe featuring Max Weinberg and Garry Tallent of The E Street Band is the very successful current release with the 2nd single, And You Know Why, going to Worldwide Radio on June 22.

Bruce released his critically successful 3rd solo record The Landing at the end of 2020 and his slide guitar playing was featured on DownTown Mystic's Test Of Time single for the Welcome To Sha-La Land album, released at Christmas. His track Goodbye, a standout rocker on One More Chance, was sync-licensed for the CBS TV show Zoo. With the release of One More Chance, Bruce Engler firmly establishes himself as an artist whose time has come.
