"Her innate ability to work with the best galleries in the country and her vision have truly made these magazines the single best must-have for collectors as they procure their collections."
SCOTTSDALE, AZ, June 02, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- International Artist Publishing, a 22-year-old print and digital media company, has named Rochelle Belsito as executive editor for three of its titles: American Art Collector, American Fine Art Magazine and International Artist. In her new position, Belsito will oversee the continued growth and success of the established magazines by shaping the editorial direction, expanding media relationships, and ensuring the publications cater to their industry segments and reach the most active collectors.
Publishers Adolfo Castillo and Wendie Martin are thrilled to see Belsito at the helm of these magazines. They say, "Her innate ability to work with the best galleries in the country and her vision have truly made these magazines the single best must-have for collectors as they procure their collections."
A lifelong magazine enthusiast, Belsito knew early on that she would pursue an editorial career. After graduating from Arizona State University with a linguistics degree in 2007, she interned for an affluent home and lifestyle magazine and then accepted a role as editorial assistant, and later associate editor, for a national publishing company with one B2B and two consumer publications.
Belsito has been instrumental to the International Artist Publishing since joining the team in October 2010 as the assistant editor of American Art Collector. Within three years she became managing editor for the company and was second in command for the editorial department. She also was actively involved in the launch of American Fine Art Magazine in 2012 and Native American Art magazine in 2016. Since December 2020, Belsito has been the interim executive editor for the company's longest running and most prominent titles, American Art Collector and International Artist, as well as the industry's leading historic American art publication, American Fine Art Magazine. She formally accepted the position in May.
"In the 10-plus years that I have been on the International Artist Publishing team, I have been fortunate to work with and write about leading galleries, artists, auction houses, museums and events to help bring the best artwork to collectors through the pages of our magazines," Belsito says. "Each publication is a leader in its art segment, and I look forward to building on that pervious success by developing timely editorial content and increasing marketplace presence."
International Artist Publishing, located in Scottsdale, Arizona, also publishes Western Art Collector and Native American Art Magazine.
