Pelican Bay at Cherry Creek Announces Two Summer Concert Series On the Water

    DENVER, CO, June 26, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pelican Bay at Cherry Creek is pleased to announce a new summer concert series, Funkin' On The Beach, along with the return of their 5th annual summer concert series, Live! At The Lake.

"We are thrilled to be back after the 2020 concert season was lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic," says Erik Dyce, President & CEO of Vencore Marine Group.

The first Live! At The Lake show kicks off on Wednesday, June 30 on the waterfront with Colorado born and bred country rock artist, Buckstein. As a contestant on American Idol, Seasons 5 & 6, he's described as John Wayne for the modern age with performances at top venues and major events throughout the state earning rave reviews for being high energy and full of wit. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., show begins at 7:00 p.m.

July 1 brings the inaugural Funkin' On The Beach show featuring the Wash Park Band. One of Colorado's most sought after groups, this dynamic band delights with powerful and faithful reproductions of horn band era dance music from the '70s to the top 40 hits of today. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., show begins at 7:00 p.m.

All shows will be held on the waterfront at The Lake House, a newly renovated full-service event venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Along with being Denver's only beachside venue, its generous mountain views ensure a truly memorable Colorado experience.
