The Trial Lawyers College Announces the Launch of Its New Website

    CHEYENNE, WY, July 16, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Trial Lawyers College, dedicated to training and educating lawyers using the psychodramatic methods, has announced the launch of its new website. The faculty consists of some of the best trial lawyers from across the U.S. who volunteer hundreds of hours of their time and share what they have learned at TLC courses.

Chartered in 1994, The Trial Lawyers College is a non-profit organization funded entirely by its student alumni. It's led by a Board of Directors committed to providing superior curriculum, faculty, and staff.

The curriculum that has been developed over the last 25 years is based on psychodrama – putting words and stories into action. Every TLC course and seminar will teach these skills that can help lawyers choose their cases, understand their clients and the underlying stories in their cases, and be the strongest and most effective advocate that they can be in their fight for justice.

Announcing the launch of their new website, the news website is an important tool to help TLC achieve its Mission Statement. TLC Executive Director Laurie Goodman says "The Trial Lawyers College is dedicated to training and educating lawyers and judges who are committed to the jury system and to representing and obtaining justice for individuals; the poor, the injured, the forgotten, the voiceless, the defenseless and the damned, and to protecting the rights of such people from corporate and government oppression. The faculty is rounded out by our team of a communication expert and psychodramatists who are trained to work with the lawyer faculty to teach how to blend the psychodramatic methods with trial skills, as well as how to effectively present your case in the courtroom with your voice and your style, rather than an attempt to mimic someone else."

TLC offers several courses, including trial skills seminars, criminal defense seminars, and grad courses that focus on advanced trial skills. Beyond its core offerings of legal training, the Trial Lawyers College is also a community of like-minded trial lawyers who join together to learn and practice the innovative TLC methods.

TLC offers a variety of ways for its students to hone their skills, such as listservs, the Warrior Magazine, an Alumni Brief Archive, an Appellate Brief Support Group, and Local Working Groups led by TLC's F Warrior Alumni Group.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, TLC has conducted virtual programs through July 2021 and will offer its six remaining in-person programs in 2021 fully compliant with CDC guidelines. Registrations for 2021 are currently open.
