The Lab Orlando Announces Partnership with Dr. Florence Alexander, Recipient of the President's Lifetime Achievement Award

    ORLANDO, FL, July 30, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Lab Orlando, a resource center and economic accelerator located in the historic Parramore district, is kicking off its Grand Opening Celebration Festivities with the announcement of a partnership with Dr. Florence Alexander, founder of Ebon Research Systems, LLC, the Orlando International Film Festival Lions Club, and the 2017 recipient of the President's Lifetime Achievement Award. On August 3rd from 5 – 7 p.m., community members, leaders, and supporters will join us at 1016 W. Church Street in Orlando as we unveil the opportunities emerging from this partnership.

Ebon Research Systems is an IT and database management company specializing in the law enforcement, health, defense, and aerospace government industries. "Ebon Research Systems, LLC dba Ebon Productions and the Orlando International Film Festival Lions Club have found a home at The Lab Orlando," Dr. Florence Alexander expressed, "I have been searching for a place to serve in communities like Parramore. The programs and resources coming will help parents, their children, and the community residents."

The doors of the passion project that is now The Lab Orlando opened in March of 2020. The mission was to empower residents in underserved communities with resources, training, and opportunities. Despite the COVID-19 shutdown, The Lab Orlando has worked diligently to create scholarships to the Central Florida Insurance School, resources for growing non-profits and small businesses, and community food drives and outreach events.
