Military Spouse Advocacy Network With Presenting Sponsor Defense Credit Union Council Announces The Inaugural Military Spouse Leadership Development Program Cohort

    SAN ANTONIO, TX, August 14, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On August, 12, 2021, Military Spouse Advocacy Network revealed the names of the 50 military spouse candidates chosen from across all military branches to participate in the first assembly of the Military Spouse Leadership Development Program (MSLDP). Selected from hundreds of exemplary applicants, the spouses will start their cohort on August 28, 2021.

The candidates will take part in a virtual four-month training program focused on providing military spouses with an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of leadership, service, advocacy, and mentorship. In addition, they will receive free training from world-renowned institutions and professionals including:

Harvard University, National Preparedness Leadership Initiative
McChrystal Group, McChrystal Academy
Psych Hub
Top military leaders
Impactful voices in the community
Advanced communications training
Influential panel participants

Upon completion, the participants will receive a Leadership Certificate from Harvard University, Micro-certifications in mental health allyship from Psych Hub, and ongoing MSLDP alumni support of their programs and initiatives.
