Paula has many talents that are extremely rare in this industry, so I was willing to do anything I could to keep her in the show.
MIAMI, FL, August 20, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This past year wasn't easy for any working artist, with movie theaters being shut down, productions being put on hold, and theaters having to stop rehearsing. Many projects had to adapt their stories to continue to advance somehow, and that was the case for Vai Que Cola, one of the biggest Brazilian comedy shows from Multishow.
Vai Que Cola stopped production right when the pandemic started and decided to bring back its 8th season with new safety measures. "Vai Que Cola – Miami" after its massive success in its 7th season in 2019, with the participation of industry's star Paula Soveral, renowned director Regis Faria decided to bring the actress back in action in season 8 by adapting the script and story to have her character appear over video calls. Faria emphasizes: "Paula has many talents that are extremely rare in this industry, so I was willing to do anything I could to keep her in the show." Season 9 is already in the works to be reshot in Miami while keeping names of big stars among Paula, such as Samantha Schmütz, Emiliano D'Ávila, Cacau Protássio, Catarina Abdalla, Fernando Caruso, Tatá Werneck, Marcelo Médici, and many more.
As a well-known voice actress in her career, Paula Soveral remains working on strong productions and dubbing characters like Grace (Fear the Walking Dead, AMC), Georgie Lane (Our Girl, BBC), Hillary Clinton and Siri (South Park, MTV), Ivy Forrester (The Bold and The Beautiful, BBC), Ivy (Wakefield, BBC), Jenny (Betty in NY, Telemundo) among many others. Her next significant role is also BBC's next big hit: Smother, a show about a grieving family who has just discovered its patriarch, is murdered, and has everyone as a suspect - including the youngest daughter who suffers from a mental illness, Grace, performed by Paula.
Due to this extensive list of big productions under her name and deep knowledge of the industry, Rudy Gaskins, the CEO of SOVAS - the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences Awards - invited Soveral to join their juror team. Since 2019, Paula has been reviewing the best voices in the industry, which includes Hollywood stars like Sigourney Weaver. Paula Soveral has already been confirmed as a juror in 2021.
