ASUNCIÓN, PARAGUAY, September 08, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Every Sunday at 7:00 p.m., Pfau and a panel of experts debate political and economic issues. Recently, the program, broadcast on the cable channel Unicanal, celebrated its first anniversary. In addition to Carsten Pfau, the largely liberal-conservative panel originally included former Paraguayan Industry Minister Gustavo Leite, economics professor and author Victor Pavon, and former top model and current entrepreneur Laura Martino. As of November 2020, Gustavo Leite is no longer a permanent cast member of the show, but returns sporadically as a guest. In his place, Argentine economist and politician Javier Milei has been added to the panel, who flies in from Buenos Aires for the show. Exactly on its one-year anniversary, influential entrepreneur Maris Llorens also became a permanent panel member on the show.
Even though originally created only as a niche program for an audience predominantly interested in economic-political topics, the program actually enjoys great popularity with a very broad audience. Young viewers in particular, who tend to be libertarian, regularly follow the debate. In light of its great success, the contract with tv channel Unicanal was extended for another year.
