VRC Taps Industry Expert For Cross-Border Tax and Valuation Efforts Amid Hot Deal Environment

Gottfried will provide senior-level support on complex tax valuation issues raised by mergers & acquisitions and multinational corporate restructurings to teammates across the country and to valuation professionals outside the U.S. through Valuation Research Group, VRC's global member network. He joins from Ernst & Young,

Prior to joining VRC, Gottfried worked at Ernst & Young's Strategy & Transactions team. He began his career in debt capital markets at BNP Paribas and worked at Baker & McKenzie, Dentons (Salans), and KPMG's Economic and Valuation Services team. His specialties include business enterprise, credit/debt instruments, equity, intangible assets and portfolio valuations. Gottfried also brings international experience, with a background in valuation analyses for companies across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Gottfried holds a Master of Business Administration degree in accounting, analytic finance, economics, entrepreneurship and strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master of Laws degree in taxation from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. He is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
