New Dance Studio to Open in Frisco, TX September 27, 2021

Located at 4247 Fourth Army Drive, Twinkle Star Dance Academy (TSDA) offers professional dance instruction to dancers ages 2-18. The Frisco facility is Twinkle Star Dance's second franchise location, and it is owned and operated by Julie Dickens, who also owns JDM School of Dance in McKinney. Julie has lived in McKinney for the past 12 years and over this time has realized the need for quality, professional dance training, particularly for preschool dancers ages 2-6.

Julie said, "I wanted to open a studio that would serve everyone in the area from children to aspiring professionals. Twinkle Star Dance Academy is a place where everyone can feel comfortable to come to study dance, whether you have been dancing for years, are just starting out, are looking to get back into it, or are just looking for a fun alternative to other activities. It's particularly important today, as many of our young children have experienced depression, anxiety and fear caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The residents of the area have a great appreciation for the arts and I hope to add to the art scene in the area by providing quality dance instruction to its residents."

Julie Dickens is a highly trained dancer and dance instructor with over 25 years of teaching experience. TSDA is easily accessible and boasts plenty of convenient parking. It is located at the corner of 4th Army Dr. and Lebanon Rd. TSDA offers a large dance studio with a sprung, wooden floor, marley flooring and high ceilings as well as waiting and dressing areas. The weekly classes begin on September 27, 2021. TSDA will produce two winter performances this December called Nutcracker Suite, and Dancing Holiday Magic. In May, 2022 TSDA will hold an annual recital. They will also offer additional performance opportunities to its more serious students through their performance company which will hold auditions in the fall.
