Scalice Land Surveying P.C.'s 'Growing Your Community' and 'Supporting Youth in Entrepreneurship' Scholarships Open for Admissions

    ISLIP, NY, September 21, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- We are proud to announce that we are now accepting submissions for the Growing Your Community and Supporting Youth in Entrepreneurship scholarships. These scholarships are brought to you by Scalice Land Surveying P.C. They are available to all students pursuing higher-education studies at an accredited college or university.

Our Growing Your Community scholarship aims to help young minds devoted to building strong communities get the education they deserve to achieve their goals through a $2,500 academic-based award. The Supporting Youth in Entrepreneurship scholarship shares the same goal, but targets students interested in private entrepreneurship, regardless of their area of study.

For both scholarships, in addition to pursuing higher-education studies, qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:
• A GPA of at least 3.0
• Enrollment or admission to an accredited college, university, or law school
• US citizenship or the legal right to work or attend school in the United States

Qualified applicants must submit an essay of up to 1,000 words about either their relationship with their community or their passion for entrepreneurship. The essay must be submitted along with the application form available on the Growing Your Community Scholarship page or the Supporting Youth in Entrepreneurship Scholarship pages, respectively, and an agreement to the terms and conditions.

Our work helps communities to grow, and we hope that with these scholarships we can help the next generation to continue with that work.

This is why we seek to raise awareness every way that we can, including through our Growing Your Community scholarship.

Actively supporting youngsters whose dreams include running or managing a business in their communities through initiatives like the Supporting Youth in Entrepreneurship scholarship will pay dividends later on. This is why we strongly believe in nurturing the entrepreneurial mindset in our nation's youth.

Having an entrepreneurial spirit and the right support can only contribute to the development of a sense of personal responsibility and a healthy appetite for risk, with positive reverberations across local communities and businesses alike.

With these scholarships, Scalice Land Surveying hopes to challenge the young minds that will mold the future to continue to strengthen the communities and local businesses around them. We do so while helping to provide the resources needed to put them in a position to be part of that improvement.

Applicants for the Growing Your Community scholarship have until December 15, 2021, to submit their essay along with their application form. The Supporting Youth in Entrepreneurship scholarship's deadline for the essay writing assignment is June 15, 2022.

Essays should be written with the following prompt in mind:

What does your community mean to you? Discuss your commitment to both your school and the larger community.

or

Describe your passion for entrepreneurship and any future plans, including your volunteer work, hobbies, and professional or academic involvement.

In addition to the online application and essay, all applicants must provide an unofficial copy of their transcript with a 3.0 or above GPA in order to prove their eligibility and agree to the terms and conditions.
