ATLANTA, GA, October 02, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Largest black owned luxury watch company, Talley & Twine, has proudly established a $10,000 scholarship fund for Albany State University to afford a more comfortable educational opportunity for students of the College of Business. The scholarship fund comes in time for homecoming season of the esteemed historically black college and will be presented on October 9, 2021 on the college campus by watch brand CEO, Randy Williams, and COO, Eric Heyward.
The mission of the fund aligns with Talley & Twine's internal brand foundation of creating more spaces, visibility, and identification for the black community and serves as the very first large scholarship award on behalf of the luxury watch brand. "As graduates of Albany State University, we are acquainted with the monumental impact historically black colleges and universities have on students and the community," says co-owner and president, Randy Williams. "ASU afforded us life-changing opportunities and left an indelible mark on our lives. We are compelled to help current ASU students have similar experiences, and we're excited to make a difference in the lives of others." It is to no surprise that seasoned entrepreneurs such as Williams and Heyward would create a fund to assist with aspiring entrepreneurs and they are thrilled to lift as they climb in any way possible.
The Talley & Twine Scholarship fund will be awarded each Fall semester in increments of $2,500 to undergraduates majoring in business. Priority will be given to entrepreneurship students with a documented unmet financial need. Recipients must maintain an ASU grade point average of 2.0 or better and be residents of Georgia, giving preference to those from Savannah, Georgia and Camilla, Georgia.

About Talley & Twine
Launched in 2014, Talley & Twine has experienced much success now standing as the largest, black owned luxury watch company. Beyond timekeeping, these unique, eye-catching pieces are made of only the finest material to help establish a high quality look for all Talley & Twine customers. With a fundamental belief that all people should be able to see themselves in luxury, Talley & Twine proudly offers metal watches, canvas watches, leather watches, and his & her gift options at modest prices so every watch lover can enjoy luxury. The distinctive look of the watch brand that makes their pieces stand out from any other item is the lone 7 on each watch which represents completion and serves as a reminder to start what you finish. This uncommon incorporation of the watch designs takes the place of the usual numbers you would find on your everyday watch, and was another great design idea created to give Talley & Twine an even more eccentric look. What used to be a vision for the company's CEO is now a tangible luxury for everyone to afford and enjoy.
More About Randy Williams, CEO and President
As the man behind the brand, Randy has always had an undeniable love for watches and a stern passion for entrepreneurial ventures, with a background in real estate and e-commerce that has helped position the watch brand to perform exceptionally well. After pursuing so many start up ventures, his most successful ones to date is Talley & Twine watch company. The pursuit of this vision was able to come alive due to Williams natural talent to sketch his own designs for the watches of the brand, and he has used this talent to create designs that he would want to see himself in, as well as items that the black community can identify themselves with acknowledging that most black people do not see a place for themselves in luxury wear.
Williams has also created visibility for himself as a talented author with 2 published books mostly discussing leadership and entrepreneurship with his readers. As part of his core values and honoring his passion to create more spaces for black people, Williams spends his time serving as a founding member of Visionaries for Change, a giving circle of the Hampton Roads Community Foundation that provides support for charitable causes in the Black community.
