Fans Petition Kevin Costner to Consider Making a Holiday Themed Movie

    LOS ANGELES, CA, November 01, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fans have launched a Change.org petition to urge Kevin Costner to consider doing the one movie genre in which he has not accomplished – A holiday themed movie.

The petition is a loving request from his fans to fill that special season of the year which Costner currently has left open. Fans have realized that there are no films starring their beloved actor during what has now become its own genre, holiday film season.

"We are not looking for a 'hallmark' style movie at all," states Kay Oliver, Petition Owner. "Rather a movie whose underlying theme is the holiday season. Not unlike "Die Hard, which many enthusiasts count as their favorite Christmas movie."

Growing by over 16,000 responses in the last week alone, brings the tally to nearly 110,000 supporters who are raising their voices in unison in hopes of hearing Kevin say he will consider the option. The numbers breakdown to over 98,500 Facebooks hearts and likes, TikTok videos with more than 8,250 hearts agree with the idea, and 3,250 signatures on the petition. Costner's current starring role in the Yellowstone TV series as John Dutton will be airing November 7th.
