Eldorado Gold Québec Implements ARES PRISM Software for Accelerated Reporting, Earned Value Management & Process Optimization

    LAVAL, QC, December 02, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eldorado Gold Québec, a Canadian mid-tier gold producer, is implementing ARES PRISM project controls software to help manage their mining projects in Quebec.

Eldorado Gold Québec will be utilizing ARES PRISM on their Lamaque Mine, an underground gold mine in Val-d'Or, Quebec, that began commercial production in March 2019. Lamaque is expected to mine and process more than 750,000 tonnes of ore at an average gold grade of 6.6 grams per tonne. They announced last February the discovery of a new high-grade gold mineralization zone within the Lamaque operations, called the Ormaque Zone.

Eldorado Gold Québec was seeking a project management tool to provide earned value management, process optimization, and accurate reporting.

Eldorado Gold Québec selected Progesys, a project management firm located in Quebec, Canada, to implement ARES PRISM's cost management software module, PRISM Cost. Progesys provided training for PRISM Cost users at Eldorado Gold and implemented the software on diverse pilot projects.
