"If you are blessed to be among those who can afford seasonal attire, please consider helping the less fortunate stay warm and safe in these cold winter months."
GREENVILLE, SC, December 03, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As the winter approaches and cold temperatures start arriving in full force, many people are in need of warmer clothes and protective gear. For the second time in three years, Fox News is hosting Operation Coat Drive as part of a partnership with the Salvation Army.
George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers joins up with Spectrum and Ingles to sponsor the event. Participants are encouraged to donate new and gently-used winter coats to the Sink Law office on Congaree Rd., Ingles locations in the upstate area, and Fox Carolina on 21 Interstate Ct.
Operation Coat Drive lasts through December 3, with donations accepted at all locations Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other factors, the U.S. Census Bureau reported its first national increase in the percentage of people below the poverty line in five years. According to its Income and Poverty Report for 2020, more than one out of every ten people now live below the U.S. poverty line.
If you are blessed to be among those who can afford seasonal attire, please consider helping the less fortunate stay warm and safe in these cold winter months.
