BOSTON, MA, December 04, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- November 12, 2021, Tamanna Syed launched her new book "The Falcon and the Dove", and it became a number one international Best Seller.
In her debut book of poetry, writer Tamanna Syed explores her identity and shares some of her most vivid experiences of growth. These include her time travelling to foreign waters to her experiences growing up in a single parent home and stepping out into the world as a first-generation college graduate.
The author's memoir-based poetry explores the human mind in relation to trauma, relationships, heartbreak, and the beauty of life. She describes her most vulnerable moments to promote poetic catharsis and self-care. The author delves into stages of her enlightenment through the chapters of creation, growth, hurt, cultural awareness, passion, love, censorship, and maturity. Moreover, she traverses through matters of immigration, womanhood, systemic oppression, and social justice. As a Bangladeshi Native raised in the United States, the author felt compelled to share the exploration of her multiple identities and the observations which have shaped her.
Healing can be an uncomfortable journey, but it is one worth diving into. Written with both melancholia and euphoria and warmth and openness, "The Falcon and the Dove" provides resonance to those who have ever felt like shedding their old skin and becoming a higher version of themselves.
In a recent interview on the Thriving Entrepreneur Radio Show, Tamanna illustrated the importance of embracing dichotomous parts of one's personality. She said, "The falcon is this more fierce, passionate, assertive creature, and then you have the dove, which is more docile, it's more submissive, it's warmer and gentler. […] [Even as you have your falcon, the dove is something you must carry, rather than clutch.] Sometimes we see our dove as a weakness, but it's not necessarily a weakness to be vulnerable, or to [healthily]…express your emotions and your feelings. [We must hold all aspects of our personality dear.]"
The host, Steve Kidd said, "It's so important to embrace every side of ourselves. Tamanna's book helps you to really dive deep into acceptance and to begin that process. I recommend that you get your copy on Amazon today!"
