"These experiences gave me many valuable insights into a professional work environment and allowed me to prove that I can excel on the job after graduation."
NEW YORK, NY, December 07, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brenden Gilbreath comes from a family of first responders. His parents met while working in law enforcement, and his father is now the LaGrange Police Chief, Gilbreath writes in the essay that won the Dansker & Aspromonte Associates' First Responder Scholarship. Yet he is not content to rest on the accomplishments of his parents.
Gilbreath personally has first responder experience. He works in the Fayette County Emergency Management Office and is pursuing a career and life of public service. The Texas A&M Corpus Christi scholar is heading into his senior year pursuing a political science degree with a minor in criminal justice.
"Compared to other majors, political science is reading and writing intensive," Gilbreath told Dansker & Aspromonte Associates. "I hope that this emphasis on constant reading and essays helps prepare me for law school." He plans to attend law school in Texas as well before heading back to serve as a prosecutor in his home county attorney's office.
Gilbreath has already begun his path toward success, interning at the Nueces County Attorney's Office. "These experiences gave me many valuable insights into a professional work environment and allowed me to prove that I can excel on the job after graduation," he said.
