In addition to the distribution deal Turkken has secured the first certified halal medical cannabis oil that serves to address a key step in assisting patients who are seeking easier and more affordable access to what is a prescription medicine.

Turkken halal medicinal cannabis oil has been included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods and is now ready for export. Turkken has it's eye on the export market which is timely as predominantly Muslim neighbour Malaysia on 9 November 2021 has legalised medical cannabis.

There are currently almost 200,000 patient approvals in Australia for medicinal cannabis according to the Therapeutic Goods Administration online portal.
