Vigilnet Expands Footprint Into Iowa

    OMAHA, NE, December 28, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Vigilnet America LLC (Vigilnet), a provider of offender monitoring services to the criminal justice system, announced today that it has acquired the assets of Iowa-based Innovative Monitoring Systems (IMS). This strategic acquisition expands Vigilnet's Midwest footprint into Iowa, allowing for operating synergies and efficiencies, given its corporate offices are in Omaha. Vigilnet is one of the largest multi-state providers of alternative sentencing programs in the country. The transaction was effective December 23, 2021.

IMS, established in 2013, has provided services that include SCRAM Continuous Alcohol Monitoring and GPS tracking in 72 counties throughout Iowa. Vigilnet currently has programs operating throughout Nebraska, Oregon, Washington, Pennsylvania, and now in Iowa. According to Jake Dawes, Vigilnet's Chief Operating Officer, his company will be expanding the reach of our services into the neighboring state of Iowa, where we will be implementing Vigilnet's customer service-based model to local law enforcement agencies.
