In the religious world where face-to-face activities are limited, education of the Word will become more important, and eventually, places with the words of the Bible will have no choice but to grow.
CHICAGO, IL, December 29, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On December 26, a total of 18,838 people graduated as part of the 112th class of the Zion Christian Mission Center, a Bible education center operated by Shincheonji Church of Jesus. The online ceremony was broadcast worldwide through the official YouTube channel of Shincheonji Church of Jesus.
During the sermon at this year's graduation ceremony, Chairman Lee—the chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony— said, "We in Shincheonji have been created exactly according to the Bible as if the Bible stamped us. 'Shincheonji' means new heaven and a new earth. The fact that we have harvested, we have sealed and engraved the Word in people's hearts at the [Zion Christian Mission] center, and that we have created the 12 tribes, it has all happened according to the Bible."
The Zion Christian Mission Center produced 18,382 graduates last year. From the time when face-to-face religious activities were all stopped due to COVID-19 until now, 37,220 people have completed the Bible education course online and officially joined Shincheonji Church of Jesus. The increase during the pandemic is because people are seeking a life of faith centered on the words of the Bible. In response to this need, Shincheonji made its high-level Bible education easily accessible to the public through YouTube and other platforms.
Led by Chairman Lee and leaders of the 12 tribes of Shincheonji, the book of Revelation has been broadcasted on YouTube and has received much praise and appreciation from pastors globally. Most of these pastors have also proceeded to sign MOUs and requested Shincheonji lecturers to teach them and their members.
An official from Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, "Across the world, more and more people are experiencing diseases, disasters, and hardships due to COVID-19 and thinking deeply about the meaning of life and suffering, and more and more people require religion. Religion must be able to provide answers to these people. In the religious world where face-to-face activities are limited, education of the Word will become more important, and eventually, places with the words of the Bible will have no choice but to grow."
Tan Young-jin, the Head Director of the Zion Christian Mission Center, announced during the 112th graduating class ceremony that from January 3, the Zion Christian Mission Center lecturers would broadcast their "elementary level lectures a total of 24 times on YouTube every Monday and Thursday. Since this is a lecture that pastors are requesting, please listen and judge for yourself."
