MASSAPEQUA, NY, December 31, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Long Island-based STEM and Lego Robotics company, X-RobotX, has officially rolled out its 2022 program lineup and one thing is clear: X-RobotX is serious about giving your child the edge in this tech-driven world. Peter Xanthus, CEO and Founder of the company, has been working tirelessly to prepare for the opening of his first physical facility while perfecting his most ambitious program offerings to date.
"This is a landmark event for X-RobotX," explains Peter, aka- Mr. X. "Having this flagship location means we'll be able to expand everything from programs to group size, and beyond. We're making everything bigger and better in 2022."
The company has planted its flag in Seaford, New York, a bustling area of Nassau County, where the X-RobotX team hopes to draw in folks from all over Long Island. This strategic location allows them to better serve their number one market, the Plainedge school district, including Bethpage, Farmingdale, North Massapequa and, of course, Seaford. So, if you're a parent in the area and you're wondering why you've been hearing so much about STEM learning and robotics, please read on.
X-RobotX is one of the most education-friendly places around. These are teacher-developed programs being taught by a company of educators. It's no wonder statistics show that nearly all youth robotics participants prioritize education and end up majoring in engineering.
If you're the parent of a child aged six to 14, X-RobotX will be able to find the perfect program for your kids. The youngest ones (age 6-8) enjoy learning to build simple machines like race cars and catapult basketball sets. Mr. X also ensures an easy introduction to coding. (Don't know what coding is? No worries, it's all explained on the X-RobotX website.)
If your child is a little older (age 9-14) you can enroll them in the introduction to robotics classes. This is where most students agree it gets really exciting, because what kid doesn't want to build a robot based on the Mars Rover? Your kids will jump at the opportunity to use a variety of environmental sensors (i.e. color and ultrasonic) to master their LEGO EV3 robot. The coding continues with games and challenges like Magic 8 Ball, Sumo Wrestling and Fuel Frenzy.
For the older and/or more advanced set, X-RobotX opens up an entire world of engineering magic that will not only delight your child in the moment, but also serve as a bridge to a future in engineering. This high-level robotics program allows students to compete in the First LEGO League Into Orbit challenge field. This includes obstacles and competitions based on real space missions like Escape Velocity, Space Walk and Extraction.
Mr. X adds: "I know this stuff can sound pretty foreign to parents—I'm a dad myself—but take my word for it, your kids are probably already fluent in the language of robotics at least. It's my company's job to extend that fluency to the actual science behind it. We make it a blast, too. In fact, the kids have so much fun sometimes they don't even realize how much learning is going on!"
With such an exciting slate of 2022 programs and their flagship location opening imminently, it's going to be a big year for X-RobotX. In this fast-paced, technology-led world, having an in-depth understanding of all things digital is more important than ever, so make sure your child always has the advantage.
Remember: You don't have to live in the Town of Oyster Bay to join; X- RobotX works all over Long Island and New York City. Additionally, they are always establishing new partnerships and expanding their area of operation—with many exciting announcements coming soon!
