All the couples we've seen come through, snapping their first pictures here. It's kind of wonderful.
FORT WORTH, TX, February 08, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In many ways, it's the sweetest holiday of the year. When Love rules supreme over the issues of the day, and to be in love and show it fills hearts everywhere. And that everywhere definitely includes this Texas-sized attraction in North Fort Worth.
This Valentine's Day couples will be flocking like cooing turtle doves to a magical place called the Snap And Share Art Walk at the Fort Worth Design District to do just that. Taking in and snapping photos of the boxcar container-sized love murals, posing for selfies in front of the Love Locks fence to which they've affixed their personal love lock.
When talking about February 14th, this is a holiday that has the FWDD's Marketing Manager effusing like the local Cupid. "You'll have to pardon me if I get a little gushy about our Valentine's Day at the district. All the couples we've seen come through, snapping their first pictures here. It's kind of wonderful."
That it is, and even the murals know it, as they announce to visitors, "Fort Worth Stole My Heart" and "you're like really pretty," rendered in big, romantic cursive writing. "Our couples love it," beams Jennifer.
Since you'll probably be wanting to make a beeline straight to it on Valentine's Day, the Love Locks at the Snap and Share Art Walk is nestled in the Golden Triangle Business Park – though of course, while you're at the Fort Worth Design District, you'll immediately get an impressive sense of just how much has been brought together here by local entrepreneur Ron Sturgeon.
A veritable city unto itself, the FWDD has become home to sundry designers and creatives, to shops and studios, to showrooms and office suites.
"But for this special romantic day, Valentine's Day, all eyes are on our Art Walk, which happens to be the largest outdoor art gallery in Texas," says Jennifer. "And since we're still in the time of Covid, what better way to celebrate the day with a loved one… outside, in the open air. It's another way to show you care."
Fort Worth Design District is located at 1949 Golden Heights Rd. in Fort Worth, TX 76177. With its sprawling 40 acres of commercial spaces, as well as the Snap and Share Art Walk and the largest outdoor art gallery in Texas, the District is proud to be dog-friendly with its inclusion of the Golden Triangle Dog Park.
