Peace Organization Proposes International Law to End War for Good

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, and Restoration of Light) has proposed an international law with 10 articles and 38 clauses intent on solving the problem of conflict, war and its devastating effects.

"I wish the DPCW...would be adopted as a resolution to the UN General Assembly and become binding international law. This will finally lead to a true sense of world peace."

HOUSTON, TX, January 28, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In March of 2016, the international peace organization Heavenly Culture, World Peace and Restoration of Light (HWPL) generated a draft of an international law containing 10 articles and 38 clauses outlining the answer to ending war and establishing peace all around the world. This international law, named the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) is what many believe to be the answer to bringing armed conflicts to an end and continuing with peace across the globe.

This draft proclamation came from an international conference that took place in September of 2014 called the WARP Summit (World Alliance of Religions Peace Summit). The Summit gathered former Presidents, Politicians, law experts, and Heads of State, religious leaders, reporters and journalists who encouraged the creation the DPCW by HWPL in order to establish world peace.

Many of these politicians and officials spoke up about what this peace law means to them.

From Madam Leokadia Gerasimenko, the President of the Ukrainian Women's Union: "No country in the world can guarantee peace and security. If we do not eradicate war today, we will return to terrorist attacks and armed aggression. We support the enactment of the war-ending international law."

From the Head Priest of the Golden Temple in India, Harpreet Singh: "I wish the DPCW, the noble goal of HWPL, would be adopted as a resolution to the UN General Assembly and become binding international law. This will finally lead to a true sense of world peace."

The DPCW is currently under review at the United Nations, and millions of people around the world hope for it to succeed to implementation as the Declaration would bring lasting peace to many war-torn nations. The ten articles of the DPCW include:

- Prohibit the threat or use of force
- Reduce war potential and repurpose weapons to benefit humanity
- Develop friendly relations and prohibit acts of aggression
- Prohibit coercion against internationally recognized state boundaries
- Ensure the right to self-determination of peoples of states
- Settle international disputes through peaceful means
- Acknowledge the right to self-defense
- Foster religious freedom
- Promote peaceful coexistence amongst religious and ethnic groups
- Spread a culture of peace

The law applies a bottom-up approach for global peace and harnesses a grassroots effort for the benefit of all humanity.

The Chairman of HWPL, Man-hee Lee, has travelled around the world 31 times on tours, meeting politicians, Heads of State, religious leaders and international law experts to discuss the DPCW and gain the support of people around the world. Twenty-one international law experts were involved in the drafting of the DPCW.
