RF Exposure Lab Receives ISED Accreditation for Testing of Millimeter-Wave Devices

    SAN MARCOS, CA, February 10, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- RF Exposure Lab has become the first SAR testing lab in the United States to receive accreditation from Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada to test millimeter-wave products for the Canadian market. This accreditation authorizes that RF Exposure Lab is able to test millimeter-wave devices intended for sale in Canada in accordance with Canadian SAR/LPD testing standards.

ISED is a governmental department of Canada responsible for regulating industry and commerce, promoting science and innovation, and supporting economic development. A branch of this department known as the Certification and Engineering Bureau administers certification for radio equipment as well as registration for terminal equipment. This certification and registration are required to prove compliance with ISED SAR/LPD testing standards. Any laboratories that provide SAR/LPD testing for devices that will be sold in Canada must be approved according to ISED standards.
