Yet, we celebrate this holiday based on his name as if it's the cutest, sweetest little holiday with hearts and candies and flowers; but let's face it, love is brutal."

He defies an emperor's attempt to ban love and marriage, ends up on the execution block, only to find himself thrust into the future with a second chance to save humanity, in the name of love.
