Royal Holiday Vacation Club Offers Phenomenal Rewards

Luckily, the Royal Holiday Vacation Club has a rewards program that's easy to use and included with every membership. Vacationers earn "Rewards Credits" that can be combined with the standard "Holiday Credits" in their packages on a 1:1 basis, allowing guests to travel to better destinations, during peak periods, or with more people than they could otherwise.

There are three ways to earn Rewards Credits: by spending Holiday Credits, paying membership dues and related expenses on time, and booking online through the Royal Holiday Vacation Club website.

Club members automatically receive one Rewards Credit for every 30 Holiday Credits they spend traveling to qualifying destinations. Likewise, three consecutive months of on-time payments will earn guests 100-250 Rewards credits based on the size of the payments. Members also receive an annual bonus of 1,000-1,500 Rewards credits for their 12th consecutive month of on-time payments.

Club members who fall behind on their payments cannot earn the Rewards Credits they would have received for keeping their accounts up-to-date even if they eventually catch up, so members are encouraged to do whatever they can to stay current.

Once earned, customers can redeem their Rewards Credits for lodging at hotels and resorts throughout the globe, including desirable locations in the Caribbean, Europe, Mexico, the United States, and Asia. Notably, Rewards Credits cannot be redeemed for anything besides lodging. They cannot be transferred to other people either, but you can use your rewards to book a trip for somebody else if you choose to do so.

Rewards Credits expire on December 31 of the second year after they were earned, giving Club members up to two years to use them without restriction. Members will also lose any Rewards Credits spent on a canceled reservation, so double-check your itinerary before booking.
