Golf Tournament To Fund Service Dogs For Veterans Returns For A Third Round

    MOUNT LAUREL, NJ, February 24, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Life can be challenging for veterans with PTSD. That's why AnnieMac Home Mortgage, in partnership with the Panebianco Family Foundation, is once again raising money for the training of at least three service dogs to help three brave people who served our country navigate those challenges.

After a hugely successful debut event in 2019, AnnieMac is holding our third "Fetch the Ball" Golf Tournament to raise money for Freedom Service Dogs of America – a Colorado-based nonprofit that provides custom-trained service dogs free of charge to people in need. The training for each dog takes 7-10 months and costs approximately $30,000.

This year, AnnieMac's goal is to raise a minimum of $105,000 for the training of at least three client-dog matches. To further help the cause, the Panebianco Family Foundation has agreed to match the amount of each individual donation up to $10,000. Donations will be tax-deductible, and donors will be allowed to market the total of their doubled donation as their own.

AnnieMac's first "Fetch the Ball" Tournament raised a total of $39,000 for FSD and in 2021 we raised $90,246.38. Between that and other charity events, AnnieMac's contributions have already funded the training of six service dogs, which were given at no cost to veterans suffering from the effects of PTSD.

All parties involved with this Tournament are closely monitoring CDC & State regulations and recommendations so that all necessary safety measures can be implemented to allow for a safe, stress-free event for all attendees.
