Physician Life Care Planning Unveils $2,500 Scholarship

The group recently announced its Surviving & Thriving with a Life-Altering Injury Scholarship, worth $2,500, designed to award deserving students who have experienced (or who are in close relationship with someone who has experienced) an injury that has had catastrophic consequences.

Applicants are eligible as long as they are in good academic standing, currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited institution of higher education, and abide by the scholarship's terms and conditions. After the June 15, 2023 deadline, one winner will be selected by a scholarship committee and announced via blog post and press release.

To be eligible for the Surviving & Thriving with a Life-Altering Injury Scholarship, applicants should compose an original, short essay of between 500 and 1,000 words. This essay should describe strategies, support, and services that had a positive impact on the injured person's ability to live and thrive.

Applicants must be the person who suffered the injury OR the injured person's friends or family members.
