SATIVA is available on all streaming platforms and we hope everyone safely enjoys the 4/20 "holiday" pursuant to local, regional, state and federal regulations.
NASHVILLE, TN, April 10, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- It's a day millions of Americans gather to celebrate marijuana: April 20 (or 4/20) is cherished by pot smokers around the world as a reason to legally imbibe with friends and massive crowds each year in the 18 states that have legalized recreational marijuana and the 37 that have legalized medical marijuana.
With this in mind, the Rock House All Stars have created a fun track based on the 1950's hit "Tequila" appropriately named SATIVA, for one of the two strains of marijuana that's known for its invigorating, energizing effect that can help reduce anxiety or stress and increase creativity and focus.
Featuring guitar sensation Donnie Bell, the track is produced by prolific musician and Grammy winner Kevin McKendree and released by the indy record label Qualified Records run by McKendree and former marketing executive, entrepreneur and fellow Producer John L. Heithaus.
In 2020, the Harvard Health Blog reports that marijuana is "quite effective for the chronic pain that plagues millions of Americans, especially as they age. Part of its allure is that it is clearly safer than opiates and it can take the place of NSAIDs such as Advil." Further, Axios reports that a Gallup poll in November of last year had 68% of Americans supporting full legalization of marijuana, up from 34% in 2001. On 4/1/22 the US House of Representatives passed The Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act, potentially leading the way for change at the Federal level.
SATIVA is available on all streaming platforms and for download at the label's Bandcamp page and we hope everyone safely enjoys this holiday pursuant to local, regional, state and federal regulations.
