He was stationed at various military installations around the globe with the United States Air Force. As an all-around entertainer in the US, Lane performed in regional musical theater productions of West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Tom Foolery, Sophisticated Ladies and La Bohème. McCray left the USAF to pursue his musical career full-time. It was in Saarbrücken, Germany where he met Melanie Thornton when they fronted the cover band Groovin' Affairs, going on to form La Bouche. They are best known for the number one hits "Be My Lover", "Sweet Dreams" and the hits "You Won't Forget Me", "Tonight is the Night", "SOS", "I Love to love", "You won't forget me", "Forget me nots" and Bolingo (Love is in the Air). With a Career spanning three decades and With over 12 Million records sold worldwide the business categorizes him as a Eurodance and House legend. Lane released a brand new La Bouche single in 2018 entitled "Night after Night". In 2020 saw the subsequent La Bouche tracks "One Night In Heaven" and the "Rhythm of love". In 2021 Lane McCray embarked on a new musical journey under his own namesake "MCCRAY" the first release on his McCray Records was entitled "Save My Life" which garnered over 500,000 Youtube Views. MCCRAY's new single entitled "I Keep Running" was released October 1, 2021. In February 2022 his latest single Waiting Debuted at number 36 on the official German top 200 Singles Chart.

One of the Host's of the new Show is Dantès Alexander, the Prince Regent of EDM, is best known for being featured on Showtime Tv's Work in Progress (2019) and The Chi (2019). In 2021, He was nominated for a Chicago music award due to his multi platinum 3rd single, So below (2020). In May of 2021 the LA Times Now named him Prince Regent of EDM.
