Disability Law Group Announces Free Legal Aid and Resource Fair

    TROY, MI, May 10, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Disability Law Group is pleased to host a free Legal Aid & Resource Fair from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on May 20 at the Troy Community Center in Troy, Michigan. The public is invited to attend this family-friendly event and receive a free health screening and legal advice.

The attorneys at Disability Law Group take pride in giving back to the communities we serve and supporting local organizations that help people in need.

The legal aid fair will offer free information and guidance on a range of topics. Attorneys with Disability Law Group will offer legal advice in the areas of Social Security Disability, SSI, and VA disability benefits available to our disabled neighbors. By speaking with an attorney in this friendly, informal setting, people may get a clearer understanding of their rights and the disability benefits available to them.

Other local attorneys will be joining the event and providing free legal advice on topics including family law, adoption, domestic protection orders, sexual violence, landlord-tenant issues, will drafting, probate matters, bankruptcy, criminal law, record expungement, immigration law, and more.

Ascension Providence Internal Medicine will offer free health screenings.

For children accompanying their parents, there will be a Kids Craft Corner with free crafts. Free hygiene products also will be available while supplies last.

The event is scheduled from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, May 20. It will be held at the Troy Community Center.
