Artes Capital Welcomes Relationship Manager Matt Damian

    LOS ANGELES, CA, May 10, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Artes Capital is pleased to announce the addition of Relationship Manager Matt Damian to its growing team of commercial real estate finance professionals. Damian is a seasoned lender with more than 15 years of experience in commercial banking, focused on real estate and construction financing, as well as building teams and developing policy and procedure in the commercial lending space.

Most recently, Damian spent three years as a Senior Relationship Manager and Team Leader for Tri Counties Bank, where he sourced and funded over $175 million in new loans, all of which were new relationships to the bank. Prior to this role, Damian founded and built an SBA lending group for a community bank, during which he was responsible for authoring all credit policies and procedures, building sales and operations teams, and developing a secondary market income model.

He enjoys finding new projects, assembling them quickly and profitably, discovering creative ways to solve problems and having fun while doing it — activities that attracted him to Artes and the private lending space in general. Damian's unique combination of experience and skills are valued assets in his client-facing role at Artes.

Damian attended California State University, Bakersfield, where he earned a bachelor's degree and an MBA, and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 1-year-old son, traveling, trying new escape rooms and rooting for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
