Provincia Government Solutions Achieves Authorized C3PAO Status

    NASHVILLE, TN, June 06, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Provincia Government Solutions, LLC, a leader in cybersecurity assessments, announced today that it is now recognized as a authorized CMMC-AB Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO). This means that Provincia Government Solutions has completed all steps required to conduct CMMC certification assessments for organizations seeking to meet DoD compliance requirements. CMMC certification can also be a huge differentiator for those SMB's seeking an advantage in the highly competitive government contract space.

The CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) is a unified cybersecurity standard for DOD acquisitions which will boost the cybersecurity posture of the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). The CMMC replaces the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-171 assessment model previously used for contractors of the DoD. This new certification will require third party evaluation in order to determine whether a contractor is secure enough to work with the DoD and participate in the DIB. CMMC aims to ensure that all contractors dealing with the DoD can protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Federal Contract Information (FCI).
