TUCSON, AZ, June 29, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Breault Research Organization, a Tucson-headquartered defense systems integrator and pioneer in optics, has been awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The 6-month grant will provide funds to support the ONR's need for an Advanced Lethality Warhead to address the evolving threat landscape faced by today's warfighters.
As a small, non-traditional defense contractor, Breault Research Organization's novel proposal securing the award meets the challenges outlined by the solicitation and adds significant value to the Department of Defense development process.

Upon completion of the Phase I, an optional award may be given by ONR to Breault Research Organization to bridge the engagement to a Phase II where additional research, development, prototyping, and testing will be carried out as a proof of the proposed concept.
