LOS ANGELES, CA, July 07, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The comprehensive exhibition specializing in alcoholic beverages with the longest tradition, 'Seoul International Wines & Spirits Expo 2022', was held on the 30th at COEX Hall A in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
'Seoul International Wines & Spirits Expo 2022' will be held until July 2nd (Sat) and 'Int'l Beer & Equipment Industry Expo 2022' and 'World Traditional Alcoholic Beverage Festival 2022' will be also held.
In this year's event, various events were prepared for visitors and buyers. There will be professional competitions such as the '15th Korean Cup Cocktail Competition', '2022 HWAYO Cocktail Championship', and '2022 Korea Home Brewing Championship'. Korea Wines & Spirits importers Association will also host 'Liquor Industry Related System Briefing' for related industry workers and buyers.
In addition, there will be seminars on domestic wine market analysis and prospect, Irish whiskey renaissance, Korean wine master class, systematic wine tasting by WSET, Yeongdong Wine Research Association auction event, K-Wine Master Class Korean wine manufacturer telling about K-Wine, Alsace wine and Korean food pairing, hidden marketing strategies of successful beers, and seminars for exhibitors (Casanova Prosecco - A sparkling story worth being, Powerscourt Distillery & Fercullen Whiskey).
Other than events that were listed, there were also pre-events such as 'Writing a congratulatory message for the 20th anniversary' and 'Live & Die with Alcohol story telling event' through Instagram were held to make them easier and more fun for visitors to participate and presented visitors with gifts. There will be small prizes for visitors who got the tickets on the site, and a total of 300 people will be drawn for pre-orders tickets gifted with various prizes.
As entry restrictions and quarantines were lifted for traveling into Korea for this year's exhibition, participation and inquiries from foreign companies also increased. Those foreign countries include Georgia wine, the hometown of wine, French wine, and Lithuania, the main producer of beer. There are about 8 foreign countries hosting about 20 booths for the exhibition.
There were about 30,000 pre-booking and registrations, however they introduced a system that simplifies the admission procedure that allows visitors to enter immediately after scanning a barcode, so visitors do not have to wait long time in the line. In addition, tasting zone was prohibited last year, but in this year's event, the visitors can go for tasting comfortably and enjoy a variety of attractions.
Meanwhile, 'Seoul International Wines & Spirits Expo 2022' hosted by Korea International Exhibition Company, presented a new liquor trend as the best business platform for vitalization of the Korean liquor industry. With systematic side events and seminars, 'Int'l Beer & Equipment Industry Expo' and 'World Traditional Alcoholic Beverage Festival' were held together.
