GALVESTON, TX, July 12, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The North American Building Compliance Testing Association (NABCTA) announced today that Lidija Bikova has been selected for the organization's first Executive Director position.

In her role, Lidija will be responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of the organization. As the primary spokesperson, she will ensure members, partners, and the community are engaged in policy decisions, fundraising, and the overall visibility of the organization. Through her deep understanding of the building compliance community, she will actively engage in the community and work closely with professional, civic, and private organizations to ensure the NABCTA brand is fulfilled.

Ms. Bikova is a native of Kavadarci, Macedonia, where she worked in her family's vineyards and studied architecture at the Faculty of Architecture at UKAM Skopje. For the last eight years, she has been the Forensic Client Manager and ISO 17025 Compliance Officer for Zero/Six Consulting, LLC, a nationally recognized building envelope consulting and testing company.

Her first charge as the inaugural director of NABCTA will be to coordinate educational and training programs related to building envelope commissioning for all members of the building envelope community, from the designers to the commissioning agents.

Lidija currently resides in Galveston, Texas, where she lives with her husband, Ivan. Lidija loves to travel when she is not working, a hobby that her new role should support very well.

NABCTA is a not-for-profit organization whose primary purpose is to promote the unbiased training, education, and certification of individuals and companies performing testing related to the commissioning of the building envelope. Although memberships are limited to individuals, laboratory accreditation programs will be available to highly qualified companies.
