TALLAHASSEE, FL, August 01, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alpha Xi Gives, a scholarship initiative founded and managed by alumni of the Alpha Xi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. at Florida A&M University, awarded $36,000 in scholarships for the 2022-23 academic year to twelve Florida A&M University students.
The Florida A&M University students awarded scholarships were selected from a large pool of applicants evaluated by the Florida A&M University Foundation and Alpha Xi Gives. Awardees were selected based on their record of academic performance, campus involvement, and community service.
Alpha Xi Gives is one of the largest HBCU scholarship initiatives conceived and funded by Historically Black Greek-letter organization alumni, raising $480,000 for Florida A&M University and awarding $110,000 in scholarships since 2019 to thirty-one Florida A&M University students.

The Alpha Xi Gives scholarship initiative was founded in 2018 by alumni of the Alpha Xi Chapter of of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. at Florida A&M University. The Alpha Xi Achievement Scholarship Fund and the Alpha Xi Endowment are managed by the Florida A&M University Foundation and Alpha Xi Gives.
