KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, July 25, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This is the second time in 2022 that, Glitzkoin CEO Navneet Goenka has rushed humanitarian help to Thailand. As the country braces for another surge in COVID-19 infections, orphanages are having to face multiple challenges. Despite all possible precautions, children are being rapidly infected. Arranging medical treatment and daily food requirements, for children at an orphanage is a huge task.
Having conducted multiple charity events in India, Malaysia and earlier this year (February 2022) in Thailand, Navneet Goenka knew exactly how to react. The CEO explained, "… Glitzkoin is a blockchain company but, this does not mean that, we should remain indifferent to social or humanitarian problems. And when we talk about children, religion, location, race or gender do not matter. Helping needy children in Thailand is something that, we just had to do."
The Feung Fah orphanage on the outskirts of Bangkok is run by the Thai Government. Over 300 children are housed on the sprawling area. Leveraging local contacts in Thailand, Navneet Goenka decided to move ahead with the plan. A visit to the orphanage revealed, empty play places and empty gardens, hardly any sign of children residing on the premises. The staff at the orphanage revealed the sad truth, the COVID-19 infection was spreading rapidly among the children. This made it necessary to keep the children within, the residential area.
Navneet Goenka reacted to the depressing news, "… very sorry to hear about the health crisis at the orphanage. I along with the entire Glitzkoin team, wish every child a speedy recovery. Our contacts in Thailand, have been given a free hand to procure and donate provisions, drinking water and other utility items to the orphanage."
The staff at the orphanage have been working round the clock to ensure that, the children are well looked after. Glitzkoin has donated rice grains, drinking water, cooking oil, fish sauce, food seasoning ingredients and other items. Angsumalee Chaiyo one of the team members visiting the orphanage on behalf of Navneet Goenka, was happy to help, "… thanking Glitzkoin for helping orphanages in Thailand. This has been a super humanitarian effort since, Glitzkoin itself does not have any business presence in the country. The provisions donated are likely to last for a month, I personally hope that other businesses would offer similar help."
After repeatedly being asked about Glitzkoin business plans for Thailand, Navneet Goenka responded, "… 2021 and 2022 have been kind to Glitzkoin. The DiaEx diamond trading platform is fully operational and the number of Glitzkoin GTN token holders is rising rapidly. We would explore the possibility of listing our token, on a Thai crypto exchange in the coming months. About permitting diamond traders from Thailand to conduct trade on Diaex – we will probably be ready in 2023. Offering customer support in the Thai language, will need some preparation."
He however reiterated that Glitzkoin remains keen to help needy Thai citizens even as, the exact time frame for doing business in the country has yet to be worked out.
