Two new board members join BRAVE® COALITION FOUNDATION as organization embarks on new strategy

    SAN ANTONIO, TX, July 25, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Breast Restoration AdVocacy and Education (BRAVE) a San Antonio based nonprofit is pleased to announce the appointment of two new board members- Ms. Gala Struthers, Chief Marketing Officer at QooQoo and Ms. Christine Shettel, Vice President of Clinical and Reimbursement Services at Kent Imaging.

Gala Struthers is a senior partner in a healthcare marketing agency that specializes in the effective communication of medical content with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Gala was involved early on with BRAVE, during the establishment of the organization's branding. With a sister newly diagnosed with breast cancer, she deepened her involvement in an effort to help empower breast cancer survivors and onboard more professional advocates.

Christine Shettel brings over 25 years of nursing and clinical education experience in the wound care and hyperbaric, with significant clinical expertise educating and advocating for patients. She has spent countless hours at the bedside of breast cancer patients and will bring a much-needed clinical perspective to the BRAVE board of directors.

BRAVE has recently refined its focus to support breast cancer survivors, believing every women should be empowered to determine how they shape their own recovery from breast cancer as a fundamental right regardless of insurance or socio-economic status.
