Babbie Jaco Named Senior Vice President of CAHEC Management, Inc.

    RALEIGH, NC, August 08, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Barbara (Babbie) Jaco has been promoted from Vice President, Property Management to Senior Vice President of CAHEC Management, Inc. Headquartered in Columbia, SC, CAHEC Management, Inc. (CMI) oversees the daily operations of over 330 rental properties throughout the Southeast, providing residents with high-quality housing and community support. Babbie joined the property management company, formerly Boyd Management, Inc., in 1984 and has been instrumental in building its nationally recognized portfolio. Boyd changed its name to CAHEC Management, Inc. after CAHEC purchased the company's assets in September 2020. Most recently, CMI was identified as one of the 25 largest Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) property management companies and the largest rural development property management company on the National Affordable Housing Management Association's 2022 Affordable 100 list.

Beyond her 38 years of experience managing affordable housing properties, Babbie holds several certifications, including the Executive Certified Property Manager accreditation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. In her new role as Senior Vice President, Babbie will be responsible for leading the property management, compliance, finance, and operational efforts of CMI as well as providing the insight and resources necessary to further the mission and accomplish the corporate goals of both CAHEC and CMI.
