Oxnard Jazz Festival Returns With 3 Days of Multicultural Fun, Food, & Music - September 9th - 11th, 2022

    OXNARD, CA, August 09, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Veteran concert promoter, Chuck Dennis has announced the return of the 5th Annual Oxnard Jazz Festival, Friday, September 9th – Sunday, September 11th, 2022. After a two-year hiatus the much-anticipated music festival will once-again take over Oxnard Beach Park, this time for 3 days.

Along with the City of Oxnard, the festival is proud to have the support of Victoria Entertainment, Alexander Cadillac, Coast Carts, Hueneme Beach Festival, Pacific Beverages, Schmooze Jazz Magazine and Stella Artois.

Thousands of festivalgoers from Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties are expected to attend and enjoy premium VIP seating with picturesque beach views, shopping with vendors, cuisine from local eateries, and a host of inviting attractions.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2022
Day Party on the Green: From 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM, OJF kicks off the weekend with a focus Health, Wellness & Community. Highlights include: "Jazz Dance Class", hosted by fitness expert, Monica Hill. At 12:00 PM on the Main Stage, Best-Selling Author, and Tax Strategist, Dr. Cozette White will lead the Women In Business panel along with special guests Veronica Castillo, and Tamara Garrison-Thomas.

At 1:00 PM the Health & Wellness Pavilion opens to offer products and services from local wellness & beauty brands.

Sip & Paint at 2:00 PM, offers groups a social and creative afternoon complete with instructor-led painting sessions and wine tasting. Tickets are $40 per person and couples can join for $125.

At 2:30 PM elected officials, sponsors, VIP guests, and business leaders are invited to Meet the Press followed by a VIP reception to celebrate the festivals' return to the City of Oxnard.

At 3:00 PM Founder of the Allynette Network and host of the All Things 805 Podcast, Miss Allynette will turn up the heat with a special DJ Set and dance party. Live performances by Delta by the Beach and Cisco Kid will close out the show.

Jazz N Jokes: Local comedians bring the funny to Chinaland located at 543 South Ventura Road Oxnard, CA 93030. Jamal Doman #JamalGotJokes hosts an evening to laugh out loud with standup comedy featuring Denise Carter, Julio Gonzalez, Toby Hixx, and Sean Larkins.

Saxophonist Erisa Nicole will provide the soundtrack for the evening with her unique brand of smooth jazz. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Ages 21 and over only and a 2-drink minimum required.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 – 11, 2022
Music Festival Days at the Park: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, music takes center stage with award-winning, and Billboard chart-topping artists.

Saturday Lineup: Blake Aaron, Johnny Britt, Jeanette Harris, Hiroshima, Jackiem Joyner, Kelly's Lot, Jeffrey Osborne, Althea Renee, Lin Rountree and Jeff Ryan.

Sunday Lineup: Paula Atherton, Bunny Brunel, Eric Darius, Emotions, Ricardo Lemvo, and Erin Stevenson.

The highly coveted OJF Vendor Marketplace will also return to offer shopping with local boutiques, and eateries serving multicultural cuisine, along with small businesses and non-profits on hand to share their products and services.

The All-White Affair – Official Oxnard Jazz Festival After Party: Also hosted at Chinaland, festivalgoers are invited to enjoy a Live DJ, drink specials, and appetizers. Doors open at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Ages 21 and up only.
