How Elevations RTC is Helping Teens in 2022

As students in the United States return to school in the fall, Elevations RTC is also focused on making this the best year.

No significant changes have been revealed, but Elevations RTC now offers a few new activities and programs to meet the various needs of their students. Off-campus recreation therapy is always at the top of the list, as the staff explores new opportunities within driving distance.

The recreation department's rafting in Ogden and Oneida Narrows became two hotspots. Rafting in the summer not only provides exercise but requires teamwork to succeed, providing a therapeutic exercise that gets students out of the classroom while still learning excellent life skills.

Back home on campus, Elevations RTC made some necessary improvements and upgrades to keep everything looking fresh. Pickleball courts made their debut in June, giving students yet another activity to participate in and exercise just steps away from their dorms.

The sport has a chance to be the most popular recreational activity on campus this year due to how easy it is for students to learn the game and become competitive. A new garden area gives the Garden Club more room and opportunities to grow new plants.

Not only will there be space for flowers, but students will have a chance to put together a robust produce garden that everyone can enjoy during meals on campus.
